As one of the efforts to raise public awareness and develop qualified human resources in corporate operational environment, CSR division of PT. Bakrie Construction conduct the welding training activities, starting from 10 August to 22 September 2010.

Twenty six excited participants from SMKN 1 Pulo Ampel welding program graduates attended these 16 days training program. They were trained by our professional experts. This program leads Bakrie Construction to contribute further in educating the graduates; moreover, they will be the professional team player in construction & fabrication industries.

The graduates were familiar with welding & its related activities as they had been studied the Basic of Welding Theory at their school. Therefore, when they got in touch with the materials such as Introduction of Structural Materials, Welding Theory Application and Cutting Materials Theory, these graduates found zero difficulties. HSE was also introduced to them. Now they are fulfilled with knowledge of work & environmental health activities.  Meanwhile, during the training all participants were monitored both in terms ability to absorb the material and their behavior at the training.

At the end of the training session, the participants were given the opportunity to practice SMAW & FCAW process, guided by expert instructors, held in the Centre of Welding School at PT. Bakrie Construction Yard.

By implementing this, PT. Bakrie Construction expected the program would offer positive contribution to its participants in applying knowledge at work environment and give experience absorbed in industry.

Eventually, we are going to conduct this CSR activity as the part of having role in economic and social communities of our corporate environment. Free of charge medical treatment is one of them.
